To those who care!
I am in my early 50s and have recently (finally) reached a point where I have the time and money to learn a musical instrument, a life long ambition. I wanted to learn the sax and until I found your web site was really in the dark as to the intricacies of these instruments having only rudimentary high school music knowledge. The web site satisfied my need to know how it all came together in a musical instrument. I work in civil engineering and the information on your web site is delivered in a language that was technical enough so that I could make a reasoned choice of instrument. Other sites used "music/musician jargon" which was entirely lost on me because I had no idea what a big southern horn from the US sounded like!
Congratulations, I was virtually sold on a Temby sax before I went back to the shop, all that needed to be sorted was which one. With a little/lot of help from Mr Temby/Mr Jones I was able to walk away with a suitable buy that is now going to give me years of enjoyment and I dare say challenge. Keep up the good work.
