The Kuhnl & Hoyer family have been making trumpets by hand since 1948. Designed in conjuction with famed European brass teacher Malte Burba, the Universal II is a beautifully crafted instrument. It is available in a range of finishes and features enabling the player to customize to their individual needs.
The Universal II trumpets come standard with two different length tuning slides to suit the unique pitch tendencies of players. A versatile instrument, the Universal II can be used to perform all styles of music. Response and intonation are excellent, especially in the middle and high registers. The gold brass lead pipe and the gold brass tuning slide guarantee durability and stability.
