All repads and restorations have a 6 month warranty covering parts and labour (excludes standard wear and tear). Minor “settling-in” adjustments are also covered within 3 months of these services.

Repad & Overhaul for Resin and Plastic Clarinets
Repadding and/or overhaul work on resin or plastic clarinets is undertaken on a case by case basis.
The reason for this is that until we have inspected the clarinet we are unable to determine how much work is required and unfortunately sometimes the amount of work required outweighs the price of an equivalent instrument.
Overhaul for Wooden Bb Clarinet – from $750
- Dismantle keywork and remove old pads
- Wash and oil bath body
- Ultrasonically clean keywork
- Hand polish body
- Machine polish keywork
- Replace pads (Lucien deluxe premium 3mm pads)
- Replace all key corks and felts
- Replace all tenon corks
- Refinish toneholes
- Realign posts
- Tighten keywork as required
- Seat pads and close leaks

- Balance action and regulate keywork

Repad, overhaul and restorations on soprano, alto, bass and contra bass clarinets are all quoted upon inspection. Please call to arrange a suitable time to speak with our technicians.
