Pricing:

All prices listed on our website are in Australian Dollars (AUD), including GST (inc. GST)

The Recommended Retail Price (RRP) is the price recommended by our suppliers (most recently communicated to us by suppliers) as the price goods should be sold in Australia. We often sell products at or less than the RRP. Other retailers may or may not sell these products at the RRP. 

International Orders:

The Music Place can ship internationally. Customers from New Zealand will see shipping options* available. Customers from other countries can request international shipping which can be enabled on a case-by-case basis. 

* Bulky items will incur additional delivery costs. 

Stock Turnover / Items Out of Stock

The Music Place makes an effort to ensure that items displayed on our website reflect our current stock on hand. Unfortunately, due to high stock turnover - The Music Place cannot guarantee that all items showing in stock are in stock at all times. If an item you ordered that was supposed to be in stock is unavailable - we will contact you. Usually orders containing out of stock items can be filled with minimal delay unless it is a special manufactured to order product. 

In-store Pricing

We do not guarantee to match our website prices on products for sale on our shop floor. This is necessary due to the cost of receiving, handling, storing and displaying products, as well as allowing you to physically try and test the products before purchase. 

Promotions and Giveaways

From time to time, The Music Place runs specific promotions and giveaways. These can be in the form of advertised sales, and/or loyalty discount coupon codes. Coupon codes may be designated for a specific customer(s). By using a coupon code, you are agreeing that you have permission to use a specified code. If a code is used that you are not entitled to - your order may be cancelled and refunded.

Cancelling an Order

Order cancellations and amendments can be made by telephone & email from the time of order placement, until the order has shipped. In the case of cancellation - you will be responsible for any payment processing fees incurred. Most orders are shipped on the same day as order placement, so if you have made an error please contact us as soon as possible. Once an order is shipped - it is subject to our normal returns & refunds policy. 

Changes to Specifications: 

Manufacturers may change the specifications of their products without notice. Whilst we do strive to have accurate information displayed on our website at all times, this is not always possible. 

Nominal Refund - Fraud Prevention

To protect our customers from fraud - from time-to-time we will use a nominal refund fraud prevention measure.

• You will receive a small refund back to your purchasing credit card to verify card details.
• Once you've seen the refund appear in your account (usually displays within 0-1 business days), please confirm the amount with us.
• As soon as the nominal refund amount has been confirmed - we will process your order as per usual. If the amount cannot be confirmed - we will cancel and refund your order.

This is a simple and effective way to protect you against unauthorised use of your credit card and to protect us against fraudulent transactions.

We aim to keep all information on our site up to date and correct at all times. However, prices, product descriptions and availability can change quickly and inaccuracies will occur from time-to-time. We ask for your understanding when errors or inaccuracies occur. We will not be responsible for, and will not be liable for, any errors in products details, descriptions or specifications, services, prices, related graphics and images, or any other content changed on the website. We reserve the right to cancel an order if such an error occurs. All prices are subject to change without notice. 

Every effort is made to keep our website up and running. We take no responsibility for, and will not be liable for, the website being temporarily unavailable due to technical reasons beyond our control. 

Acceptance

By placing an order with The Music Place, it is accepted that you have read and understood out terms and conditions as outlines above. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. If any single term or part thereof is found to be illegal, all other terms remain applicable. 

All our products come with a guarantee or warranty from the manufacturer. You also have guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

The Music Place reserves the right to amend, modify, add to, delete or make any corrections to any part of our terms and website at any time without notice.
