The EBB431 is a full size double Bb tuba, with a four valve top action piston section, which is helpful when needing to control your intonation. Enhancing the tone and versatility, when the fourth valve is used in place of the typical one- and three-valve combination. The top-action on this instrument makes it ideal for schools and community ensembles that perform more advanced literature. With the use of different metals, for example the rose brass lead-pipe and nickel silver tuning slides, really assist the player in achieving a deep, dark sound with the ability to really open it up down low. The stainless silver pistons move very fast and smooth for the quick passages that sometimes appear on the page. The tuba also comes with a very impressive ABS case on wheels.
