Gonzalez Oboe Double Reed Making Cane
The Gonzalez oboe cane segments for gouged come from carefully selected oboe cane. The segments of oboe cane are chosen by diameter and cut to 75 mm length, but different lengths can be requested.
The tubes from which these gouged canes are made come from our own plantations, ecologically cultivated at the foot of the Andes.
All the raw materials used in Gonzalez products are grown at their family plantation in "3 de Mayo" at the foot of the Andes mountains. With one of the largest plantations Gonzalez produce upwards of 12000 reeds a day! In addition to their deep commitment to the environment, they prioritize quality by choosing only the best raw material and manufacture using the latest technologies.
