The first thing you will notice is how free the reed becomes. The difference can also be seen in laboratory comparison tests that clearly show the much more defined harmonic partials present which helps produce a richer, fuller sound. The surface of the Estro ligature is polished like a mirror and plated with solid Gold/ Platinum. Premium Zircon gemstones were added on the top and Harmonic Enhancers by artisans. The Estro has a new type of fine tuners that touch the surfaces of a mouthpiece. The harmonic enhancers increase resonance of a mouthpiece and help generate a fuller sound by increasing and balancing overtone harmonics. Each harmonic enhancer is decorated with matching crystals by our artisans

Two patented harmonic enhancers enrich this ligature’s sound by providing synergistic resonance with the mouthpiece. Stronger projection is achieved through the overall increase in harmonics. Five cords give a comfortable resistance and rapid response, with just the right amount of focus to maintain a powerful sound. The crystal decorations also add an extra touch of beauty.

NEW! Patented Rocking Bridge

Gen. 5 Silverstein ligatures are distinguished by a completely redesigned bridge. The rocking action of the bridge automatically achieves an optimal alignment with your mouthpiece. And, the elongated feet provide secure grip to prevent slipping, even when quickly changing mouthpieces. The direct contact of the bridge feet on the mouthpiece acts as resonance plates, which further integrates your setup for maximum and efficient sound production.

Note:

If SOUND is your primary concern, then we recommend NOT to use the rocking bridge’s black rubber shoes included with the ligature.

The sole purpose of the rubber shoes is to prevent potential minor scratches on your mouthpiece’s finish. While these pads provide protection to the mouthpiece, they also absorb sound energy which can noticeably reduce the ligature’s performance and affect timbral quality and response.
