For the best possible sound quality, we recommend removing the black rubber pads from your Rocking Bridge™. While these pads do protect your mouthpiece from minor scratches, they also absorb vibrational energy. This can significantly reduce your ligature’s performance, negatively impacting tonal clarity, response, and resonance.
