Domingo had been playing our RS5 model which was working very well for symphony use. He wanted a brighter version of it that could also be used in the Salsa bands but still be suitable for symphony venues. Domingo visited the factory in 2010 and worked with Terry through several changes to the RS5 model - mainly adding a slight V shape to the bottom - to achieve the result Domingo was looking for.: .281" (size K)

The original Rosolino piece has proven very popular but there have been players who could not function with the small diameter. We made the Rosolino 2 and 3 with larger inside diameters and they have been a hit!

"I have always been a great admirer of George Robert’s sound on the bass trombone. So when I started playing I used a Bach 1½ G and did my best to emulate his sound. Then, when I switched to a Warburton mouthpiece I was looking for the same thing (only better) I found that the stock Warburton 1¼ G played much better than my old Bach and so I worked with it for awhile but ultimately decided that I wanted even more from a mouthpiece so I worked with my brother Terry to tweak the design of the 1¼G by opening up the throat and modifying the cup slightly."
