All Winfield reeds are made using hand picked French cane, usually either Mme.Ghys or Alliaud. All reeds are wired unless you specifically request otherwise.The Winfield cork Oboe staple is the first British manufactured, seamless, smooth bore, brass staple, incorporating the designers unique nonslip cane grip. The staples are the French size of 47mm. The staples are designed to compliment all of today's modern instruments.
