CHANGES DUE TO COVID-19
Due to the current pandemic situation all returns, for reasons other than faulty items, will be subject to an additional cleaning and sanitation fee of $15. This is in addition to all fees set out below.
If you’re not satisfied with your selection, then neither are we. If for any reason you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase of a new item, simply return it in its original condition within 14 days of purchase (see below for exceptions) and we’ll give you a full refund. Simple as that. Returned items must be in original, brand-new condition, showing no signs of wear or use such as belt-buckle scratches, scuffs, dings or scrapes on the instrument or collateral materials. Items must also include all original packaging, manuals, warranties and accessories or your return may be subject to a return handling charge. Please note all new instruments are professionally set up and play tested prior to shipping to ensure they are playing at their best. Your refund will be processed in a timely manner upon successful evaluation of your returned item from our trained professionals. Refunds are made for product value only, excluding freight charges. If you received Free Shipping on your order, the value of this uncharged shipping cost (at actual cost, not flat rate tier) will be deducted from your refund. For change of mind returns where payment was made by paypal there will also be a deduction for all transaction fees incurred as paypal no longer refunds transaction fees for refunds.

Examples of Exceptions:
The following items are returnable only if defective OR sealed / unopened packaging – reeds, electronic goods, earbuds, earplugs, recorders, tin whistles, harmonicas, drumsticks, sheet music, cleaners, lubricants, polishes and polishing cloths. Software/soundware, books, CDs, DVDs, and videos may be returned for credit only if they are in their original, sealed packaging. All woodwind and brass instruments that are returned for reasons other than for defects incur a $20.00 sanitising fee. Returned mouthpieces incur a $10.00 sanitising fee.
Faulty or defective products:
In the event you believe your purchased product to be faulty please contact us immediately so we can address your concerns. Depending on the severity of the fault The Music Place reserves the right to repair or replace the product or refund the sale value. If the product is assessed and found to not be faulty or defective you may incur an inspection fee of $20 and be charged any shipping fees incurred.
ANNUAL CLIENT SALE
Please choose carefully as there are no refunds or exchanges available for 'change of mind' on any products purchased as special offers during our annual client sale. Products sold as 'display model' or 'factory second' may have cosmetic imperfections. Please read the product description carefully and view photos as returns will not be accepted due to these cosmetic issues and they will not be grounds for warranty claims.
